Syllabus Structure

Each Level takes approximately 1 year to complete

Level 1

• Complete the Ahsanul Qawaid
• Gateway to Arabic - Book 1
• Children able to read Qur’anic text and gain fluency with practice
• Tajweed Level 1 (correct pronunciation of the letters and basic madd rules)
• Dua Book 1
• Islam for Younger Children by Ghulam Sarwar
• The Islamic Education Series by Maulvi Abdul Aziz Book 1

Level 2

• Read the whole of Juz Amma fluently
• Gateway to Arabic – Book 2
• Tajweed Level 2 (Introduction to Tajweed – Ghunna, noon & meem saakin rules)
• Memorise at least half of Juz Amma
• Dua Book 2 – How to pray & Children Book of salah – by Ghulam Sarwar
• Dua Book 3 – Kalimah, Dua & Salah
• The Islamic Education Series by Maulvi Abdul Aziz Book 2

Level 3

• Read the Qur'an fluently (Khatmul Quran Juz 1 – 3)
• Gateway to Arabic – Book 3
• Memorise Juz Amma completely
• Memorise Surah Mulk & Qalam
• Tajweed Level 3 - Tajweed Rules Of The Quran Part 1 By Kareema Carol Czerepinski
• Islamic studies – Islam Beliefs & Teachings by Ghulam Sarwar

Level 4

• Read the Qur'an fluently (Khatmul Quran Juz 4 - 6)
